About our program
Our Utility Assistance Ministry is funded entirely by our Annual Lenten Fish Fries and generous donations from people like you. Every dollar donated goes directly to paying utility bills for families in Cherokee County. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and church support, there are no administrative costs—100% of your gift makes an immediate impact.
We have established relationships with all of the local utilities and their assistance teams and can often work with them on the customer's behalf to resolve the account quickly. Our counselors also provide a listening ear and support for these peole in need.
