We Serve in our Community

We strive to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors and in our community.  At St. Clement's there are so many opportunities to volunteer of your time and talents.

Path to Shine

Our church has one of the largest Path to Shine programs, providing mentoring to elementary school children in at-risk communities to help them reach their full potential. These children are given the tools and guidance to discover their talents, boost their self-confidence, and build strong, positive relationships with their peers and mentors. Path to Shine is a unique opportunity to provide support and encouragement to children in need and to make a lasting impact in their lives. For more information about Path to Shine, contact us.

Homelessness

Our Homelessness Support initiative partners with other local organizations to help those experiencing homelessness.  Our Gift Card Drive for Vets provides an opportunity for people to donate gift cards to veterans, which can be used to purchase essential items such as food and clothing.

In addition, we partner with the Atlanta Church of the Common Ground in Woodruff Park to provide resources and support to those experiencing homelessness. By working together, we can make a difference in the lives of those in our community.

Counseling and Grief Support

Our church offers Counseling and Grief Support from both clergy and trained lay persons. We provide comfort and support in times of need, either through in-person visits or virtual meetings, tailored to meet each individual's needs and preferences. Our compassionate counselors are experienced in helping those who are struggling with loss, and are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for those seeking guidance.

Health and Wellness

St. Clement's hosts Red Cross Blood Drives twice a year.  Over the past years, we have impacted 600 lives through the blood donations collected at St. Clement's.  Check our calendar for the next scheduled blood drive, or find a local drive at www.redcross.org/give-blood

Families in Need

At our church, we are dedicated to helping families in need. We offer a utility assistance line (funded by our Lenten Fish fries) to provide help with bills,  and an Easter Basket drive to spread joy and cheer.  We partner with the 'Give the Kid a Chance' Backpack drive each summer and at Christmas, our Angel Tree provides gifts for local families struggling to make ends meet. In the winter, we hold a Coat drive with MUST ministries to share our resources with those struggling to keep warm.

We are committed to making a positive impact in our community.  Check our events page for details about current drives.

Hunger

Our Hunger Support program partners with MUST Ministries to provide food and resources to families in need. Every month, we hold a reverse offering and collect non-perishible food and household items. Additionally, every Thanksgiving we collect for the MUST Turkey Drive to provide families with a full holiday meal.

We maintain a Little Pantry at our church, which is open 24/7 and stocks items such as canned goods, cereal, and other non-perishable items.

We invite you to join us in our efforts to support our community
