St. Clement's is known across Cherokee County for it's fish fry. For six Friday's in Lent, the entire parish works together to serve customers a delicious meal. Meals include hand-breaded tilapia filets, made from scratch hushpuppies, our sweet southern baked beans, house prepared coleslaw and of course a brownie for dessert.
In 2023, our fries raised $12,340 (we sold over 1,100 meals) for our outreach ministry, which pays utility bills for Cherokee County households facing poverty and requiring financial assistance. We also provide funds to support the Bethesda Community Clinic and Must Ministries.
