St. Clement's
HOPE
“God is light; In him there is no darkness...”
[1 John 1:5]
Lent
The Lord is full of compassion and mercy: O come, let us adore him.
What in my life needs renewed and stronger focus? What do I need to let go of which is damaging or destructive? What new direction is opening up to me which may both challenge and excite me? In all these things: what is the most important thing in my life? What gives me life, real life? To ask such questions is not only to seek a fuller life for oneself but to discover what great gift you can bring to the world, your family, and your community. Whatever it is, if it builds up and doesn't break down, if it lifts up and doesn't cast aside, it is a gift of love. And love is of God. These are the questions of the season of Lent.
Our faithful response to the continuing presence of the COVID virus in our community is to engage safely and virtually in worship and mission, and outside on our beautiful campus when weather allows.
“Whoever you are, God seeks a relationship with you. Peace is within reach. Healing is within reach. Love is within reach. Don’t be afraid to bring your questions, heartaches, doubts and joys. It’s a great time to be part of God’s church.”
— Bishop Rob Wright
