Lay Eucharistic Ministers are lay persons who receive training and are licensed by the Bishop to assist with our worship in various ways.  LEMs assist with formal worship by reading the lessons and assisting with the Holy Eucharist by administering the chalice.  Lay Eucharistic Visitors are lay persons authorized to take the Consecrated Elements in a timely manner following a Celebration of Holy Eucharist to members of the congregation who, by reason of illness or infirmity, were unable to be present at the Celebration.
